OT Vision is an Innovative Platform designed to provide plant stakeholders with a comprehensive and user-friendly means of understanding and monitoring critical infrastructure. Leveraging visual elements such as charts, graphs, and tables, OT Vision transforms complex data into an accessible format, facilitating an improved understanding of the plant's status and operational patterns. The central objective of OT Vision is to provide an integrated platform for visualizing data from Secure Water Treatment (SWaT), Water Distribution (WADI), and Electric Power and Intelligent Control (EPIC) testbeds.
Enhanced Situation Awareness - OT Vision equips plant engineers with an invaluable tool for enhancing their situational awareness. It presents anomalies detected by various anomaly detectors in a clear and concise dashboard format, enabling rapid response and decision-making.
Data-Driven Insights - By harnessing the wealth of data collected, OT Vision empowers users to identify significant trends within the plant. This includes tracking metrics such as water level fluctuations in tanks, pH levels, and deviations between actual and predicted values, providing valuable insights for plant management and optimization.
Anomaly Detection - OT Vision introduces an additional layer of security to critical infrastructure by continuously monitoring and detecting anomalies. This proactive approach enables early intervention and mitigates potential risks, ensuring the safety and integrity of the plant.
During my tenure at iTrust over the past three months, I had the privilege of collaborating closely with my mentor, Francisco Furtado, who serves as iTrust's Cyber Tech Lead. Together, we embarked on a project aimed at revolutionizing the way we visualize industrial plants, with the goal of delivering substantial benefits to a range of stakeholders, including plant operators and engineers. The outcome of our collaborative effort is OT Vision, a cutting-edge visualization tool that offers a graphical representation of a plant's status and performance.
